Coffee service
In this position you will be in charge of brewing the coffee, setting and cleaning tables, refilling coffee pots as needed and selling baked goods at the coffee counter. Coffee time is Monday through Friday 9 – 11am.

DINING ROOM SERVER
The Dining Room Server position takes place at Cedar Estates from Monday to Friday 10:30am to 1:00pm. It involves setting up the dining room, receiving payments for meals, calling diners who do not show up for the meal, serving and delivering meals in the building and provide any extra help the kitchen may need.

Biscuit MORNING
On Wednesdays, during our coffee time – 9 – 11am. This position requires you to be on your feet and moving around quite a bit. You will be sharing this position with 3 other volunteers. The team will be setting and clearing tables, making coffee, refilling coffee pots, selling/ serving the biscuits at the coffee counter.

On the second Monday of every month we serve waffles from 10am – 12pm.
There are 6 positions for this event. 2 positions from 8 to 11am, making coffee and setting tables. 4 positions from 9am to 12pm, serving waffles, refilling coffee pots and clearing tables.

MEAL PREP ASSISTANT
This position requires 1 volunteer a day from 8am to 1pm that aids our kitchen staff in preparing the daily meals, packing meals to go, serving dine in guests, and other tasks as required by the meal coordinator.

Each day – Monday to Friday we have meals that need to be delivered to homes for the noon meal. Most of our meals are driven to personal homes within Winkler, but some are delivered to the Crocus Village across the street from the Senior Centre.
