Meal Program Options

​The Main Purpose of the Congregate Meals and the Meal on Wheels program is to serve the needs of a population of older adults in our community and provide a well balanced meal at a reasonable cost. 

Winkler Senior Centre Congregate meals are served at Winkler Senior Centre located in the Buhler Active Living Centre - 650 South Railway Ave. Winkler and Cedar Estates Common Room located in the ALG Professional Building - 309 Main Street Winkler.

Cost is $9.00 a meal.  Meal cards with 6 meals for $54 are available for purchase in person via Cash, Cheque or Debit or online.

Delivery to Crocus Village is available.

Cancellations for meals must be done ​by 9:00am on the day of delivery.  If there is no answer when you call please leave a message with your name, that you are cancelling for meals on wheels and your phone number.  Meals not cancelled and delivered or an attempt has been made to deliver will be charged to your account. ​ ​

Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of a storm, our office may experience an interruption in
service, including cancellation of all meal programs, coffee
service and phone and internet access. Please note that if the
Garden Valley School Division cancels school due to weather, we will cancel all meal programs. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
